Participation in the ASFOR Conference
ELMAS was present on March 24, 2023 at the "From harvesting to biomass" conference organized in the forest by ASFOR.
The event was attended by entrepreneurs from the field of exploitation and primary processing of wood, professors and students from the Faculty of Forestry, officials from the ministry and the Forest Guard, journalists and members of non-governmental environmental protection organizations.
During the event, the Press Collector equipment manufactured by Hencon Forestry in the Netherlands was presented for the first time for Romania. The equipment was mounted by the Elmas John Deere service team on the John Deere 1510G forwarder owned by Migab Forest SRL.
Press Collector is ideal for transporting large volumes of forest residues. It compresses the load during transport, allowing the load to be 2 to 4 times higher than in the version with racks. The C-frame, support legs and quick-connects combine to allow the collector to be easily mounted on a carrier.
